Chapter Purpose and Goals |
| All over the world,
Texas Exes get together
to network, socialize, watch Longhorn
Sports events, and support The
University. Exes help recruit the best high school seniors, while
also providing them with support. Though it is carried out in a
hundred different ways, the Texas Exes’
mission is simple: to connect
members to each other and to the past, present, and future of
The
University of Texas.
In addition, chartered groups raise scholarship funding
for awards to high school students attending
The University of Texas, as an involvement activity. In short,
Longhorns
praise, promote, and protect The University of
Texas and its
students, as well as unite, inform, and involve alumni and friends in
fellowship and support of education.
The Texas Exes Involvement Group Mission:
Create fun and meaningful events and activities to promote socializing and
networking among local alumni and connect them to The
University of Texas.
Increase membership in the Texas
Exes.
Develop alumni leaders for The Association and The University.
