The Corpus Christi Texas Exes
(formerly
University of Texas
students), along with the Nueces County A&M Club, hosted the annual
"Hoot
'n' Holler" bash Nov. 23 at Catahoula's Texas Grill and
Tavern, located inside Sunrise Mall.
Each year, area Longhorns and Aggies gather for a
good-natured rivalry and to cheer for their teams. While at
Catahoula's, guests shared maroon-and-orange-colored drinks, representing
the colors of the two universities.
The 'Hoot 'n' Holler" party takes place before the
Texas A&M/University of Texas football game. The Longhorns
whupped the Aggies at this year's game, which was held Nov. 26.
