Texas Exes Announce Leaders on State's Independence Day

Corpus Christi Chapter recently
nominated and approved their 2005 Board of Directors at their general meeting held on March 2nd,
2005 in conjunction with Texas Independence Day. Positions will be
held until June 30, 2005, the end of the Texas Exes leadership year.
The newly appointed Board includes: Ron Lowe (President);
Michael Carrizales (President-Elect and Webmaster); Barry
O'Neal (Immediate Past-President and Scholarship Chairperson); Elizabeth
Reining (Secretary and Treasurer); James Skrobarcek (Communications Chairperson);
David
Bridges (Media Relations Chairperson); Vernon Reinhardt (Special Events Chairperson);
John
Davidson and Kevin Schaber (New Board Members).
In addition, Marynelle Davis-Stamper
and Janis Herren were individually recognized as Honorary Lifetime Board Members for their
respective years of hard work and dedication to the organization.
The new Board of Directors will be introduced at the Corpus Christi Texas
Exes'
Annual Spring Scholarship Banquet to be held at the Solomon P. Ortiz International Center,
402 Harbor Drive, on Wednesday, April 27th, 2005 at 6:30 PM. The organization is honored to
have Multi-Hall of Famer and six-time National Coach of the Year Jody Conradt, Head Women's
Basketball Coach of The University of Texas at
Austin, serve as Guest Speaker for the event.
Proceeds from the banquet will be used to benefit the community by awarding
scholarships to deserving local high school students.
Cost (includes dinner): $35 for Texas Exes Members; $40 for General Public.
