Texas Exes Fete Future Longhorns

Corpus Christi Texas Exes hosted its annual student send-off and
scholarship awards on June 4 at The University of Texas Marine Science
Institute in Port Aransas.
During the event, four scholarships were
awarded to students planning to attend The University of Texas in the
fall. They were presented to Timothy Ginn of Calallen High School,
Stacey Avalos of Sinton High School, Kenneth Graveson of Ray High
School, and Megan Noel, graduate student at The University of Texas Marine
Science Institute.
Ron Lowe gave his exit speech as president,
and incoming president Michael Carrizales discussed the chapter's plan for
the upcoming 2005-2006 year.
The event also included Bevo XIV at the
beach, compliments of the UT Silver
Spurs, which featured the Texas
Longhorn mascot for photos with local Texas
Exes.
