(Texas Exes) will hold their annual
Texas Exes Corpus Christi
Awards Banquet on Thursday, June 1st, 2006 at King’s Crossing Golf & Country Club. A Cocktail hour will kick off at 6:00 P.M., with a Dinner & Silent Auction beginning at 7:00 P.M.. This year’s keynote speaker will be
Texas Baseball Legend and Corpus Christi native
Brooks Kieschnick, who was recently named to the inaugural class of the NCAA College Baseball Hall of Fame.
Recognition will be given to the following:
- Retiring Senior Director David Bridges, VP – Communication
- Special guest Hector Salinas, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi Baseball Coach.
- 2006 Scholarship Winners
- 2006 Longhorn of the Year
Two raffle prizes will also be awarded:
- Two (2) Texas Longhorns 2006 Football Home Season Tickets
- A Custom-made Hand-crafted Texas
Longhorns-themed Barbeque Pit (courtesy of O’Neal Welding & Fabrication, Inc.)
Proceeds from the banquet will go towards the Texas Exes Corpus Christi
Scholarship Fund, benefiting local high school students. Cost: $35/Texas Exes Members; $40/Non-members; $300/Table of 8 w/Preferred Seating.
